
Phase III of the
Metra Project has been completed. A total of 128
pay by space terminals have been installed from as far as Long Lake to the
north, Hegewisch to the south, and LaFox to the west. All machines accept
bills, coins, and the Metra parking debit card.
Cale pay by space terminals
replace Parkeon machines in the Village of Western Springs.
WebOffice will provide the convenience of credit card payment for the users and
remote enforcement for the Village.
Total Parking Solutions has been chosen by the
City of Elmhurst to install Cale pay by space terminals in their
municipal garages and Metra parking lots. In an effort to centralize the
existing system of scattered honor boxes, the City is installing the electronic
pay stations that will integrate the lots and garages into more manageable
groups.
City of Wood
Dale decides that staying with Total Parking
Solutions is the most logical choice as they replace Parkeon machines with Cale
pay by space terminals. TPS provided service and maintenance for the Parkeon
machines for Wood Dale since opening in 2005.
The Village of
Oak Park adds to their multi-space meter inventory
by installing an additional four Cale pay stations in their downtown
district. Increased revenues are being attributed to the convenience of credit
card payment and the operational reliability of the Cale terminals.
As part of the expansion of
the Crystal Lake Pingree Station parking lot, Metra adds four pay
by space terminals, increasing the total number of machines to nine.
Total Parking Solutions
completes installation of Cale Pay and Display parking terminals in the City
of Duluth, Minnesota. The City decided to introduce pay and display parking
in an very active shopping district known as Canal Park. The credit card
payment option is a big hit with both the users and the City.
After an exhaustive bid
process, the Village of Glenview selects Total Parking Solutions and Cale
in replacing the antiquated Parkeon machines at their Metra station parking
lots.
The Village of Vernon
Hills decides to replace honor boxes with Cale pay by space terminals. The
machines will accept cash and credit cards.
The City of Aurora
is the latest to install Cale pay by space terminals as part of the expansion of
their Metra Lincoln Avenue parking lot.
City
of Evanston installs Cale pay by space machines in two municipal garages.
Meters accept coin, bills, and credit cards. The convenience of Cale’s new
“remote enforcement” will be introduced to the parking staff. Metra stations to
soon follow suit.
Total
Parking Solutions starts out the new year by replacing four Parkeon pay stations
with Cale terminals in the Village of Wheeling. Meters will accept cash
and credit cards as forms of payment.
Village of Downers Grove elects to go with their neighbor Total Parking
Solutions as their parking equipment provider and service company as part of the
Belmont Ave. Underpass Project. The three pay stations installed will accept
cash and credit cards.
Village of Schaumburg replaces Parkeon pay stations with Cale Compact XL’s.
This spring, Total Parking Solutions will be installing six units that will
accept cash and credit cards.
Village of Round Lake removes honor boxes in favor of electronic pay by
space terminals as part of Metra station rehab project. Three pay stations will
be operational by the end of spring of 2009. Cash and credit cards will be
accepted.
City
of Berwyn’s new long awaited parking deck to be opened in the fall of 2009.
The City decides to install Cale Compact XL pay stations, which offers the users
multiple payment methods and the City the impeccable service of Total Parking
Solutions. The Cale central management system feature of “remote enforcement”
will be the added bonus that Village staff will appreciate the most.
