The City of Ypsilanti, MI has selected to install Cale multi-space meters into their downtown area parking lots. One community lot will be serviced by Pay by Space equipment and another lot by Pay & Display equipment. Currently, the meters will accept coins and bills. This type of technology is not new to Ypsilanti; they have used this technology for many years. The Cale units will be replacing old generation Schlumberger equipment. Total Parking Solutions, Inc. was chosen for their overall commitment to servicing their customers and the reliability of the Cale equipment. The units are slated for installation in March 2006.
