University of Wisconsin – La Crosse Adds Two Pay Stations

Due to the satisfaction of the University parking staff and its' parking public, U.W.L. has decided to add two additional pay stations, bringing the total number on campus to six. The plan going forward is to convert the remainder of their single space parking meters to Cale.

The equipment had more than proven itself through the harsh winter of 2013-14. The City of Whiting Goes With TPS and Cale for the Whihala Beach Redevelopment Project Whiting, Indiana was in the process of reinstalling the equipment that they operated at the beach parking lots, until their eyes were opened to the benefits of multi-space parking terminals. The benefits of pay and display Cale terminals to both the City and the beach patrons far outweighed any other potential parking payment system, as well as the flexibility the system offers the City.

The ability to offer tier-leveled payment (City residents, State residents, non-residents) was a big factor in their decision, as well as TPS's service and support reputation, considering this is their first experience with multi-space parking equipment.
