As General Manager, Vic is the person our clients, technicians, and partners rely on when the situation calls for deep expertise — and after nearly 25 years in the parking industry, there aren't many situations he hasn't seen.
Vic joined TPS at its founding in May 2005 and has been a central figure in building the company into the trusted partner it is today. His background spans every layer of a parking program: hands-on terminal service and repair, equipment programming, field operations, and the broader strategic questions that come with managing a program for a growing municipality. That combination — knowing how each of our terminals work at the circuit-board level and how to advise a city on their long-term parking strategy — is what sets him apart.
Vic has been that person time and again. Whether it's a terminal down at a Metra station on a Monday morning or a new city weighing their first multi-space meter deployment, he brings the same approach: get the right answer, get there fast, and make sure it holds.
For most of his tenure at TPS, Vic was based out of our Downers Grove headquarters — and his fingerprints are on much of the Illinois business we've built over the past two decades. The relationships, the program knowledge, the reputation with municipalities across Chicagoland: a significant part of that traces back to Vic being in the field and on the phone, doing the work.
In recent years, Vic relocated to Southwest Florida to help lead TPS's geographic expansion. It's the same model that worked in Illinois — deep local presence, fast response, genuine investment in each client's program — now being built on the Gulf Coast. Early results reflect that: TPS has added a growing roster of Florida clients, and Vic is the reason that expansion has felt like a natural extension of who we are rather than a leap into the unknown.
As TPS now serves over 100 municipalities across Illinois, Florida, Wisconsin, Michigan, and beyond, Vic's role has grown alongside it. He oversees operations, guides our team of technicians, and remains one of the most knowledgeable Flowbird programmers in the region. When new technicians join TPS, they learn from him. When longtime clients have a question that needs a definitive answer, they ask Vic.
That kind of reputation takes decades to build. At TPS, we're fortunate to have someone who takes it seriously every day.
