Total Parking Solutions added another customer on the Metra system by way of a new Metra stop in Romeoville. The station currently has around one hundred twenty parking space with room for expansion to three hundred and fifty. The Cale CWT terminal allows for payment with credit card, bills, and coins. Pay by phone is also available and has proven to be very popular. The City of Evanston Employs Pay by Plate Parking Terminals on Sherman Street As of November 2017, the conversion from single space credit cards meters to Cale CWT pay by plate terminals has begun. The city chose pay by plate over the pay by space or pay and display they have operating in their off-street parking lots because it combines the best of both worlds. No numbering or delineating of spaces as required in Pay by Space and no need for the parker to walk back to their vehicle to display their receipt as in Pay and Display. All that's required is enter your license plate number, make your payment, and they are on their way. All information is then held in Cale's back office system for LPR enforcement, records, and reporting.
